Workshop description: Advanced Massage Techniques are designed to assist in correcting imbalances in soft tissues that are caused from repetitive physical activity or trauma. They release tension and help to relieve painful areas. If you are a newly qualified therapist or a practising therapist wishing to further develop your skills, this workshop has been especially designed for you.
What will I learn? This workshop will cover all the necessary theoretical and practical advanced massage techniques to safely incorporate into Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy Massage and Body Massage Treatments including proper posture and body mechanics, effective use of body weight, changing techniques to prevent injury, basic neuromuscular techniques, basic myofascial release techniques, basic PNF Stretching techniques, safe use of forearms and elbows, working with heel of hands and knuckles and catering your treatments to clients specific needs.

*Please note you must be a practising therapist with a recognised, accreditated Swedish / Body Massage qualification and a good understanding of anatomy and physiology to attend this workshop.

How do I pay? A 35% deposit and all appropriate VTCT fees must be received by Chrysalis Therapy Training to secure a place on all of our courses and workshops. The balance is required in full, 31 days prior to the first day of the course or workshop. We offer a 10% discount for payments made in full at time of booking.
Payments can be paid directly into our bank account. You can transfer funds from your own bank account either using online banking or at your branch, completely free and very secure. Simply add to cart and follow the checkout procedure, choosing ‘pay via The Royal Bank of Scotland’ option. Once we have received your order we will contact you with our bank details so that you can arrange a direct bank transfer to complete payment.
