Workshop Summary: Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key), a a Japanese healing technique is a system of Enlightenment and a Hands on Healing art developed in the early 1900's by Mikao Usui in Japan. It is an art that is passed from Master to student. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words - Rei and Ki, meaning Spiritual Energy; the term "Reiki" is used to describe both the energy and the Usui system of using it. The original system by Usui was called Usui Reiki Ryoho. It helps to reduce stress, aid pain relief, enhance relaxation and promote health and wellbeing. It is based on the principle that an unseen life force energy flows through every living thing. Reiki can either be given at a distance or by the practitioner placing their hands on or slightly above the client.

Workshop Content: During this 2 day Master Teacher course students are taught the Reiki Master symbol and how to use it, the process of passing on attunements, how to teach and what to teach in Reiki first, second and third degree classes. They are given one attunement by a Master Teacher. At this stage the Reiki energy will flow stronger and vibrate at a higher level and after a suitable period of time the Reiki Master Teacher can now conduct Reiki courses and pass on attunements. Comprehensive materials will be provided and a CPPD certificate will be awarded upon course completion. Please bring a packed lunch, herbal teas and filtered water will be provided for you.
