CPPD (Continuing Professional and Personal Development) is defined by The Health Professions Council as “a range of learning activities through which health professionals maintain and develop throughout their career to ensure that they retain their capacity to practice safely, effectively and legally within their evolving scope of practice”.
CPPD enables you to keep up to date with the latest treatments, products, techniques, equipment and business developments and is the mark of a true professional. If you are an assessor or verifier with a governing body such VTCT or are a member of FHT (The Federation of Holistic Therapists) CPPD is compulsory.
As the Therapy industry becomes regulated all therapists will be required to undertake CPPD training every year. This training will be monitored on a point scoring system and will normally be calculated on an annual basis. Members of FHT are required to complete a minimum of 10 CPPD points a year. If you are not a member of FHT then your own professional organisation will give you guidance on the requirements. We offer a wide range of CPPD workshops to enable you to comply with the requirements of your professional association with regards CPPD.
We offer a wide range of CPPD Workshops and in association with Essential Training Solutions, Online CPPD Courses.
