Terms and conditions of enrolment and booking

    • A 35% deposit and all appropriate VTCT fees must be received by Chrysalis Therapy Training at the time of enrolment to secure a place on all of our courses and workshops. The balance is required in full, 31 days prior to the first day of the course or workshop

 

    • Failure to pay any remaining balance on time will incur a late payment charge of £25

 

    • All deposits are non-refundable, unless the course is cancelled by Chrysalis Therapy Training

 

    • All VTCT fees are non-refundable

 

    • Cancellations will only be accepted if made in writing and received at least 91 days before the first day of the course or workshop. In this case 75% of the balance paid will be refunded

 

    • For cancellations made within 61 – 91 days of the first day of the course or workshop, 50% of the balance paid will be refunded

 

    • For cancellations made within 31 – 60 days of the first day of the course or workshop, 25% of the balance paid will be refunded

 

    • Cancellations made within 30 days of the first day of the course or workshop cannot be accepted and any monies paid will not be refunded. Any remaining balances that are unpaid will remain due in full. Please be advised we will take steps to recover all monies due.

 

    • Where payment terms by instalment have been agreed and written cancellation has not been received at least 30 days before the first day of the course or workshop, the entire outstanding balance remains due

 

    • Cases of non-attendance or non-payment without due cancellation notice as stated in our Terms and Conditions will result in legal action as you are liable for full payment, within 7 days. Please be advised we will take steps to recover all monies due

 

    • In exceptional circumstances such as serious illness Chrysalis Therapy Training will consider, at our discretion a transfer to another course date upon submission of written evidence such as a letter from a General Medical Practitioner. Please note in these cases an administration fee of £25 will apply

 

    • In the unlikely event of Chrysalis Therapy Training cancelling a course you will be offered alternative dates or a full refund

 

    • For courses and workshops that require prerequisites, evidence must be shown prior to the first day

 

    • Chrysalis Therapy Training reserves the right to alter course dates or hours if necessary however every attempt will be made to accommodate students with as little inconvenience as possible

 

    • All course materials including manuals and handouts are for the student’s sole use and should not be copied or otherwise distributed under our Copyright policy

 

    • In the interest of keeping courses / workshops and materials up to date, Chrysalis Therapy Training reserves the right to make changes to terms and conditions of booking, curricula and syllabi without prior notice

 

    • Chrysalis Therapy Training will not accept liability for any accident, loss, theft, or damage to any property during the course or workshop

 

    • Disreputable or disruptive behaviour of students towards other students, tutors, equipment or which harms the reputation of Chrysalis Therapy Training are grounds for instant dismissal with all existing course fees being forfeited

 

    • No student may charge a fee to case study volunteers. You may only charge a fee once you have completed your qualification and received your certificate.

 

    • The chewing of gum is not allowed on the premises

 

    • Under no circumstances will refunds be given in full or in part for courses which  have been started but not completed.

 

  • All students will be expected to wear a therapist’s tunic and trousers while attending our professional training courses, or a polo shirt and trousers/shorts if attending a sports therapy course. A high standard of hygiene should be maintained, observing the following points:
      • Nails should be kept short and filed

     

      • Hair should be tied back and away from the face

     

      • No jewellery should be worn, apart from a plain wedding band and small earrings

     

      • Shoes should be flat, comfortable and cover the feet.

     

    • Strong perfumes or aftershaves should not be worn. Students should avoid smelling of smoke or food
