VTCT Level 3 Diploma for Reiki Practitioners - 2 Day Course
The origin of Reiki lies in the work of Dr Mikao Usui and the treatment based upon Buddhist teachings. Reiki is taught by a Reiki Master but critical aspects of the qualification are to provide a regularised format to credit training for a practitioner of Reiki therapy. The treatment consists of having the client in a comfortable position, whether lying down or sitting in a comfortable chair and then placing the hands over relevant body areas.
This Diploma delivers Reiki Level II teachings including practical skills, interpersonal skills and underpinning knowledge of symbols required to provide treatments for clients. Reiki can be usefully combined with all other complementary therapies to enhance treatments. The skills developed are beneficial for any career and are often considered a life-changing experience on a personal and professional level.
This course will cover the following:
- Use interpersonal skills with therapy clients
- The Seven Major Chakras and their relationship to Reiki
- Assess the client and provide Reiki treatments
- Attunements to Levels II
- Symbols to Practitioner Level
- Distant healing
- Scanning the aura
- Health and Safety
This course contains the following units:
- VR52 Use interpersonal skills with therapy clients
- VR114 Assess the client and provide Reiki therapy
- VR02 Support Health, Safety and Security in the Workplace
- VR74 Support Employment Standards
Prerequisites: Anatomy & Physiology, Usui Shiki Reiki Level I. Students who have not completed their level I training with Chrysalis Therapy Training will be required to provide their level I training manual and speak with the course tutor prior to the course to ascertain their level of knowledge. Students who have not completed Level I training will be required to attend Chrysalis Therapy Training's Level I Course.
It is advisable that student leave a period of 3-6 months before commencing Reiki Level II and at least 6-12 months prior to commencing Reiki Level III.

Course fees: Your Investment is £289 which includes all VTCT registration and certification fees. If you have already registered with VTCT this will be reduced by £15 and if you have already gained the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards in the last 3 years this will be reduced by a further £16.
