VTCT Level 3 Diploma for Reiki Practitioners (D1085) - 2 Day Course
Course Summary: The
origin of Reiki lies in the work of Dr Mikao Usui and the treatment
based upon Buddhist teachings. Reiki is taught by a Reiki Master but
critical aspects of the qualification are to provide a regularised
format to credit training for a practitioner of Reiki therapy. The
treatment consists of having the client in a comfortable position,
whether lying down or sitting in a comfortable chair and then placing
the hands over relevant body areas. Course Content: This
Diploma delivers Reiki Level II teachings including practical skills,
interpersonal skills and underpinning knowledge of symbols required to
provide treatments for clients and is suitable for those employed in beauty or holistic therapy, health related services. Reiki
can be usefully combined with all other complementary therapies to
enhance treatments. The skills developed are beneficial for any career
and are often considered a life-changing experience on a personal and
professional level. Includes: This Diploma also includes the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards.
This course is a mandatory part of all Holistic and Sports Therapy
courses. If however you have already gained this Diploma in the last 3
years you will not have to complete it again providing evidence can be
shown. Please bring a packed lunch, herbal teas and filtered water will be provided for you.

![]() | Prerequisites: Candidates are recommended to have a level of general education comparable to GCSEs and must have achieved Reiki Level I. Candidates who have not achieved Reiki Level I training with Chrysalis Therapy Training will be required to provide their Reiki Level I training manual, lineage, certificate and speak with the course tutor prior to the course to ascertain their level of knowledge. Candidates who have not achieved Reiki Level I training will be required to attend Chrysalis Therapy Training's Reiki Level I Course. It is advisable that candidates leave a period of 3-6 months before commencing Reiki Level II and 6-12 months prior to commencing Reiki Level III. |
Course Delivery: This course is delivered in person at our VTCT approved assessment centre over 2 days. Course Assessment: This qualification requires the candidate to provide evidence of competence in the form of case studies or individual treatments to cover range statements, and demonstrate sufficient knowledge to be able to explain Reiki Therapy and provide it safely, effectively and consistently. Independent study is an essential part of this course and you will be required to complete both practical and theoretical assignments at home. Assessments will take place during the course and on the final assessment day.
